A mood board, sometimes known as an inspiration board or an interior design mood board, is a visual collection of the design elements a designer is considering to include in their interior design project. As the mood board evolves, the images and ideas are curated to communicate a specific look. A moodboard is a visual tool that helps you communicate your design concepts and ideas. It used to be that physical mood boards were prepared by interior designers for their clients with actual paint samples, fabric samples as well as images attached to physical boards (usually foam board).

Save your ideas
On Mac if you drag the image preview of the screenshot from the right lower corner of your screen to your Canva design before it disappears, it won’t save to your desktop. Having it designed gives you a general idea of what looks good then you can just swap those images into makes it easy to see what each piece of furniture would look like with the others. Save the Images to a Folder
Just because you don’t LOVE it, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be in there. First thing we pull in is the things we NEED to incorporate. Once the design plan has been locked in and items have been ordered, then the difficult part of the room begins… manual labor and the renovation itself.
